The participants at the ICEM Latin American Energy Meeting declare that trade unions always pronounce themselves clearly and decisively for solidarity among workers in our region and on our continent.

This consistency and this solidarity have always guided our actions, which mean that we are siding with our Peruvian brothers in these difficult times of reconstruction of cities and respect for those who lost lives in the recent earthquake.
