ICEM/IMF Global Framework Agreement with Umicore

On 28 September 2007, the ICEM signed, together with the IMF (International Metalworkers' Federation), its 13th global agreement with Umicore, a global company focussing on advanced materials, precious metals services, precious metals products and catalysts, and zinc specialties and alloys.

The agreement was co-signed by Belgian labour federations Metaal/FGTB-ABVV, CGSLP-ACLVB, and CSC-ACV, the federation which affiliates CCMB (Centrale Chrétienne du Métal de Belgique).

The agreement deals with six subjects: Human Rights, Working Conditions, Environment, Implementation of Agreement, Monitoring, and Validity of Agreement.
